How do you play pocket Aces in late position?

the title says it all. lot of different strategies out there wondering how you all play it. personally i raise about 4 times the big blind. been sucked out too many times with the rockets

If I were to get rockets in late position I would raise...but in my opinion 4x the big blind is too much. 3 is standard...and usually with only 1 or 2 players to the flop you know you've got the best hand...if all suited cards come out or an open ended flop comes out..throw out a feeler bet...people will suck out on you no matter what 2 cards you have sometimes...and as you play more you'll know what you're comfortable doing..and if there's 2 flush cards or straight cards out on the board...make the other guy commit ALOT of chips to hit his draw!

I agree with toomuchfor you. The key is to only play heads up or only 2 other player to the flop. It is so easy for some one with week hands to catch 2 pair or straight or flush draws. If I have a good read on someone I like to slow play the hand. Just my 2 cents

If im in a early position I'll raise it 2 or 3x the big blind, hoping for callers and maybe a raiser. If someone reraises me, I'd reraise 4X their raise. Hoping to catch the callers, I dont care if I pick up a small pot as long as they win. Aces always get cracked it seems. hahaha

well that depends if it has been raised or not. I now have gotten in the habbit of if I raise pre-flop into a pot that has not been bet into I alway go 3x the BB, which makes it tough for people to get a read on what I might have. If it has been raised when it gets to me and I have AA, I am at LEAST going to double the amount in the pot.

Raising 4X will bring a couple of pots and then someone is going to play you out. I would never go higher than 3X.
