First Time At A Casino v. Got Screwed

Well I decided to play for the first time at a casino. It was 1/2 no limit holdem. I bought $120 worth of chips, get seated at a table. Immediately this guy gives me **** about taking all my white chips. Im like I dunno I gave her the money she gave me the chips. So they get changed out to reds (5) and we play a few hands. I flop some pairs but Im really short stacked which placed me in a huge dissadvantage. So they would raise with big bets I folded a few. One of the hands guy wins with a high card, I flopped hi pair but I folded. So next hand I get delt Jack 8 Clubs. Flops comes J 8 something and the last card was a club. Next card was a club as well. So guy raises it 75, so I go all in (64) another guy goes all in too. Im hoping for a flush but I've got my 2 pairs as back up. The river was whatever.... and he flips em and one guys got pocket kings the other guy has a straight. DAMN! My biggest problem I see with playing at the casino was that I was pretty nervous so I wasn't really paying attention to the community cards to try and figure out what other people could have, but I was instead only concentrating on my cards cuz I was like wtf is going on. Plus I was sitting next to a hottie so sometimes I started thinking with the wrong head. LOL Ooops. But I learned something thats all that matters. I will try again next weekend or maybe during the week.

Damn man sorry to hear that. It's a totally different ball game playing in a casino like that. Better luck next time!

Yah when troy and I were down in Newtown it takes some getting used to, there is a lot of table talk cuz they all know each other.

My table was full of ****y guys. I really wanted to beat the snot out of this hindu bastard for trying to intimidate me when I sat down.
